Genuine Hubei turquoise earrings with a niobium chainmaille frame and marquis earwires. I have created clusters of small turquoise bead dangling from multiple sides of this wire frame. These pretty dimensional earrings have a rustic, yet elegant look. They are 1-5/8 inch long (4.1 cm).
Niobium metal is naturally nickel-free. Many metals that are commonly used in jewelry are alloys - combinations of two or more metals, and nickel is often one of them. It makes soft metals harder, and its shiny silver color can be desired for plating on duller metals. Even a trace amount of nickel is enough to cause a rash in someone who is sensitized to it. But Niobium is classified as commercially pure (min. 99.95%) - It simply doesn't need other metals to stiffen it. There are no “mystery metals” here – you will know exactly what is in your jewelry.
Your earrings will arrive in a simple gift box, or if you prefer a satin pouch, please just ask me. Plastic earring stoppers are included. I make each item by my own hand, using only nickel-free materials. I create all findings, fixtures, and earwires from raw materials so that I can guarantee what metals you will wear against your skin.
Your jewelry should never cause you pain, or irritate your skin. If you continue to irritate your nickel allergy, your allergic reactions will become more severe over time. Nickel allergies can appear at any age and last a lifetime, so everyone can benefit from choosing nickel-free jewelry. If you have additional questions for me, please do not hesitate to ask.
