Niobium Chainmaille Necklace in Blue and Gray

A swirling blue and gray lamp work glass bead forms the centerpiece of this lovely necklace. Accented with alternating lapis lazuli and blackstone beads, spaced with chainmaille segments. This very substantial necklace is an original design, and there will never be another one like it.

When I create my chainmaille pieces, I cut and form the rings myself, fit them into the weave, and in this case, create the weave as I go. This was very fun to make, and each design element is a result of my own experimentation.

Niobium is naturally dark metallic gray in color, complementing the colors of this bead beautifully, accented with small black onyx bead on either end, then black and gray gemstone beads along the chain. The back part of the chain is a simpler figure-8 style chain which will lay flatter against your neck. Completed with a simple and secure J-hook clasp. This necklace is 17 inches long (43 cm), and will hang nicely at a choker length just under your chin.

The necklace shown in these photos is exactly the same one you will receive. Your jewelry will arrive in a small gift box, suitable for gift giving or safe-keeping.

Would you like me to change the color of the wire in this necklace? I can anodize this piece to suit your needs.
